Twitterocalypse, Part One
April 20, 2009For some time now, I’ve had a nagging suspicion that Google may well be on its way to becoming a real-life Skynet. I mean, look how many things they’re into. Documents, email, chat, global mapping and now with their acquisition of Grand Central, voice communications. Not to mention they’ve been cataloging practically every search, page visit and mouse click ever performed for the last 10 years. Scared yet?
Then when rumors were flying that they might acquire Twitter, I started to think this could actually rip a hole in space-time itself. At the very least, it would significantly increase the amount Google knows about every one of us.
This comic follows the natural and inevitable progression. Excuse me whilst I go stock the bomb shelter.
